Upset winner in Jack Benny League

The popular Sonoma basketball league for grown-ups finishes season with 4th seed victory/|

The Jack Benny League finished its 2018-19 season in dramatic fashion. Patt’s Copy World (5-7) , going into the April 14 tournament in fourth seed, won the 2019 JBL Championship after disposing of the heavily-favored number one seed, Valley of the Moon Winery (10-2), in the first round, 66-52.

They then continued their upset ways with a 66-61 win over the number two seed, Murphy’s Irish Pub (7-5).

This is the second year in a row that Patt’s Copy has won the championship after coming in as the fourth seed. Patt’s Copy World also were JBL Title Holders in 2009, 2010, and 2013.

VOM Winery (6-6) won the consolation game 70-55, over the third-seeded R&B Custom Builders.
