Baseball Dragons fall to San Marin

Sonoma has two road games before coming home on Saturday.|

The Dragon baseball team had Friday’s game postponed because of the rains, but managed to get Saturday’s game against San Marin in.

Sonoma fell to San Marin 6-0, and managed only two hits in the process. The Mustangs scored single runs in every inning except the fifth. The Mustangs managed only three hits themselves, but were helped along by 10 walks and two hit batters.

Dom Chiotti started for the Dragons and went 2-2/3-innings, Brendan Hogan worked 3-1/3-innings and Tuck Williams threw an inning.

Friday night’s postponed game against Novato was slated to be played Monday night, results not available at press time.

The Dragons will be on the road Wednesday when they travel to Justin-Siena, and Friday when they play Vintage at the Veterans Home in Yountville.

Sonoma returns home Saturday when they host Tamalpais at 7 p.m. at Arnold Field.
