Youth lacrosse

Sonoma Youth Lacrosse will offer one more free Sunday clinics for boys and girls at Adele Harrison, on Nov. 24 from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Equipment is provided. The fee is $35 and all participants receive a free lacrosse stick, ball and a one-year membership to U.S. Lacrosse. For information please visit sonomayouthlacrosse.org.

Turkey Trot

Sonoma’s annual Turkey Trot 5k race is now accepting entries for the Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 28, non-competitive fun run. 100 percent of fees and donations go to Meals on Wheels. Sign in at 7 a.m, race time at 8 a.m. Suggested donation $25 per adult, $10 child. Race begins and ends at Bartholomew Park, 1000 Vineyard Lane, Sonoma. Alumni soccer

There is a SVHS alumni soccer game planned for Saturday, Nov. 30 at Adele Harrison Middle School. Former varsity players will play the new SVHS varsity players. Graduating classes from 2009 to 2013 and others are expected to attend. The women will be playing at 10:30 a.m., and the men will be playing at noon. Junior basketball

Registration is open for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Sonoma Valley’s co-ed junior winter basketball season, from November to Jan. 30, 2020. The program is for grade K-2. Maxwell Clubhouse, 100 W. Anyone for futsal?

Registration is now open for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Sonoma Valley and Sonoma Valley United’s Co-Ed Futsal season, from Dec. 7 to March 14, 2020. The program is for all kids in first through eighth grades. Players will learn team-based recreational soccer, teamwork, fair play and more at the Maxwell Clubhouse, 100 W.
