A slew of Sonoma Valley runners, and two alumni, take off from under the oaks at Maxwell Farms Regional Park on Wednesday afternoon, Sept. 4, for the annual Alumni Meet that kicks off the Cross Country season.

Winning time was posted by alumnus (Class of '88), and coach, John Litenberg, who ran the 2.7 mile course in 16:46; second was junior Ryan Hengehold (18:01) and sophomore Dylan Cusic came in third (19:41). Freshman Annabelle Hunter was the top girl finisher, coming in 12th (21:02).

The other alumnus in the race was Grace Cutting, Class of 2017; her time was 29:26. Next match at Maxwell the team is Wednesday, Sept. 11, against Justin-Siena.
