Napa schools closing: In a public forum last week, the Napa Valley Unified School District outlined a list of cutbacks that may include shuttering two of its smaller schools after the 2019-20 school year.

CPR classes: There is a CPR class this Thursday, June 27, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the Sonoma Valley High library on Broadway. The class teaches adult/child/infant CPR with option of certification and first aid. They also offer a special babysitting class, private and group classes and more. cprinsonoma.com.

** U.S. Air Force Airman Dean J. Dunham graduated from eight-week basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland in Texas.

** Rebecca Hermosillo received a bachelor’s degree in public administration/public service from Park University.
