Sonoma Charter School Leadership students made 22 blankets for residents of two assisted living centers in Sonoma, as well as for adoptable cats and dogs at Pets Lifeline. The students used the money that they raised at their snack shack to purchase 44 yards of fleece fabric. During the school’s monthly leadership student family gathering, students tied the blankets together. Students and parents delivered the blankets to the senior centers during the school’s annual Christmas Caroling and then four leadership students delivered the remainder of the blankets to Pets Lifeline.
