From rallies to reunions, parades to punches, 2019 Sonoma Valley High School Homecoming was a weekend to remember. Take a look at some of the fun that went on.

The weekend began with a Homecoming parade of class floats up Broadway from the high school to the Plaza on Friday afternoon, ending with a rally in the amphitheater.

On Friday evening, all SVHS (Sonoma Valley High School) graduating classes were invited to an alumni event outside Arnold Field before the football game. The Dragons kicked off against Petaluma High School at 7 p.m. with the stands packed with students and alumni.

The 2019 Homecoming King and Queen, SVHS seniors Alan Amezquita and Sofia Portello, were announced at halftime, as was the winning float, which was built by the senior class.

The football game was called early in the fourth period after a fight broke out. The final score was recorded at 35-14. See A1 for details.

Reunion events also took place all over town, with the highest turnout recorded by the class of 1989.
