Sonoma Valley High School graduate Andrea Jimenez, ‘16, is now a senior at Sonoma State University. She recently completed a second internship with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) one of the largest professional-services firms in the world, in its San Francisco office.

PwC is a global network consisting of more than 250,000 people in 158 countries. PwC offers its clients a wide array of services, ranging from tax advice and audits to cybersecurity consulting to human resources.

During her internship, Jiminez focused on specialized tax services primarily helping clients with a research and development tax credit.

“I was able to feel as though I was a first-year tax associate by studying prior years calculations using data automation tools, participating in client calls and meetings, working with other offices across California and building relationships with other interns and staff members,” she said.

Jiminez participated in virtual trainings designed to help develop her leadership and technical skills as well as meet with a variety of partners in different lines of service.

After two successful internships, Jiminez has now received a full-time offer as a tax associate upon graduation.
