The Sonoma Valley Unified School District board of trustees has a packed agenda for its 6:30 p.m. meeting on Tuesday, March 12, in the City Council Chambers. Items on the agenda include:

Plans to hire a firm to conduct a district demographic study

An analysis of the 2018 Smarter Balanced standardized test results by school and by demographic

A public hearing and voting on a proposed $15 minimum wage for district (non-teacher) staff

Plans to hire a new position of Principal Scholar

Approving the 2019-2020 academic school year calendar

An update on the district-wide strategic planning process
