Local Sonoma spelling bee results

The top two spellers from each school are invited to move to regional competitions|

Schools around the district have held spelling bees on campus in recent weeks and the winners are now going on to compete in regional and district bees. Local school winners included -

Altimira Middle School: The middle school’s sixth grade spelling bee winners included first place winner Mari Suazo and second place winner Victor Astua Padilla.

Adele Harrison: Adele’s sixth grade spelling bee winners were Delaney Reynolds in first place and Remy Harrison in second.

Flowery: Flowery Elementary’s spelling bee winners were Kailash Wood in first place and Sasha Jamison in second.

Sassarini: The schoolwide spelling bee winner was Enrique Alcaraz Estrada and the runner up was Mitchell Alger.

Prestwood: Prestwood’s spelling bee winners were Jack Conway and Ethan Sager.

El Verano: Angela Chen and Karina Chávez were the elementary school’s spelling bee winners.

Dunbar School: Dunbar’s spelling bee winners were fifth graders Justin Avila Barajas and Jaidyn Fay.

St. Francis Solano School: The St. Francis spelling bee winners are Tyler Trantow in first place and Gianni Hammond in second.

Presentation School: Presentation’s spelling bee winners were sixth graders Sarah Juhasz and Lily Dominguez.
