Free children’s yoga at the Sonoma library

For the next five weeks, the Sonoma Valley Library will offer yoga classes for kids ages 5 to 10 and for ages 0 to 5. Classes start on Monday, Jan. 8 and continue through Monday, Feb.4.

The weekly classes for older kids will run from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. This is a kids-only yoga class, parents/caregivers can observe

The class for babies and toddlers will meet at 10:30 a.m. It incorporates gentle movement and songs to enrich development and deepen the bond with baby and toddler. Each baby/toddler must be accompanied by one adult.

Both “It’s Yoga Kids” and “Little Om Baby/Toddler Yoga” will be taught by local yoga teacher, Lesley Giovannelli. All classes are on a drop-in basis and are first come, first served.

All equipment is provided.
