Each year more than 500 families, staff, alumni and community supporters crowd the Sonoma Valley Veterans Memorial Building in support of the clubs, electives and sports at Sonoma Valley High.

The SVHS Boosters Club is busy gearing up for the event, its biggest annual fundraiser. The 2019 Super Bowl Eve Crab Feed, Dance and Auction will take place on Saturday, Feb. 2.

The event begins at 5 p.m. with a no-host cocktail hour and a silent auction, followed by a buffet dinner of fresh cracked Dungeness crab with Caesar salad, dessert and coffee, a small live auction and dancing from 8:30 until 11 p.m.

Crab feed tickets are $65, VIP tickets are $85 (which includes special wine, dessert and seating). Dance-only tickets will be sold for $15 at the door after 8 p.m. Buy tickets online at svhscrabfeed.org, or call 241-3268.

It’s also not too late to join the Booster Club, says vice president Stacey Schoeningh. “Joining the Booster Club and volunteering at school events are great ways to support our students, to meet other parents and to get involved.

The parents and Sonoma Valley High supporters who join the Booster Club through their financial commitment and their commitment of time as a volunteer make the many opportunities for our Sonoma High School students possible. It’s quick and easy to join online at the home page of the high school website.”
