Structures Destroyed: 11,713 residences, 472 commercial and 3,388 other buildings
Fatalities: 77 civilians
Why was it given the unfortunate name of 'Camp Fire'?:
It was named because of its proximity to Camp Creek Road near Highway 70 in the Feather River Canyon
Air quality: As of 3pm, www.purpleair.com labeled Sonoma Valley air quality (168) as 'Unhealthy' for all

Smoke: Winds are bringing the smoke into the North Bay area, according to the Bay Area Air Quality Control Management District and a high pressure system is trapping the air pollution at ground level.
