Victorian crafts workshop returns to Sonoma on Nov. 11

Creative hands-on holiday fun for all ages.|

Step into holiday history of the late 1800s at Sonoma State Historic Park’s Vallejo Home from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 11, for the 29th annual Victorian Christmas Crafts Workshop.

The workshop provides a memorable, creative and educational hands-on experience for families to participate in craft-making activities and to learn about Sonoma State Historic Park and the Vallejo family’s contribution to California history.

Over a dozen craft tables will be available to allow visitors to create unique holiday gifts or mementos of the Victorian era.

There will also be a docent-led tour of the historic home and grounds, and a “special guest” from the North Pole.

Park admission is $3 per adult; children are free and must be accompanied by an adult. The event is held rain or shine. Complimentary refreshments are provided.

Sonoma State Historic Park encompasses several locations, including the General Vallejo Home at 363 Third St. W., where the Victorian Christmas Crafts Workshop takes place.
