Liz Liscum to head Sonoma’s Creekside High School

Longtime Adele teacher to take over alternative high school and middle school writing centers|

Sonoma Valley Unified School District has selected Liz Liscum to be the new principal of Creekside High School. Liscum will also run the district’s middle school writing centers.

Liscum is a fourth generation Sonoma native and attended Prestwood Elementary School.

She has taught at Adele Harrison Middle School since 2008 and supported SVUSD in roles such as AVID site coordinator, school site council, ELAC, academic coordinator, activities director and summer literacy academy coordinator.

Liscum earned her undergraduate, graduate, and teaching & administrative credentials from Sonoma State University.

Liscum also represents Sonoma Valley Unified on the California Association of Directors of Activities.

Liscum’s tentative start date will be Sept. 17.
