Sonoma Valley High School has hired a new Bilingual School Community Liaison. Leonela Armenta graduated from the high school in 2010. She has been with the school district for more than five years as a special education one-to-one aide and she currently has a child of her own attending Adele Harrison Middle School.

Armenta can be found at the front desk in the main office and is available to assist parents. According to the district, she will be working with outside organizations such as La Luz, Sonoma Valley Community Health Center and Redwood Empire Food Bank to share resources for all families. She will also be setting up workshops for parents; keep an eye out.
