Teaching seniors to use social media

The Sonoma Valley Library will offer a workshop on Social Media for Seniors at 11 a.m. Friday, April 20.

This workshop will teach seniors how to stay in contact with friends and family online via social media sites. It will also explain what social media is and how it works. The major social media platforms will be sampled and explored.

The workshop is limited to 10 participants and registration is required. Participants can register by visiting the library’s website at sonomalibrary.org, calling the library at 996-5217 or stopping by the library at 755 W. Napa St.

This training is presented by Language Truck. The event is free and open to all.
