Group meets monthly at La Luz Center.|

The March meeting of the Springs Community Alliance on Thursday, March 15, will include a discussion on homelessness in the Springs.

Representatives from various community service organizations will be on hand to identify the resources available to deal this issue.

The Springs Traffic Calming committee will also be giving an update and will have yellow traffic-calming signs available to residents for $5.

Also, a representative from Supervisor Susan Gorin’s office will be giving updates on some of the county’s initiatives.

The meeting is open to the public, and anyone with an interest in the Springs is welcome to attend and weigh in on the issues.

Translation services will provided.

SCA’s mission is to serve as a hub of communication and information affecting the interests of people who live in, serve, or conduct business within the “Springs” neighborhoods of El Verano, Boyes Hot Springs, Fetters Hot Springs and Agua Caliente.

The group’s meetings are held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. the third Thursday of the month at La Luz, 17560 Greger St.
