Sonoma Valley teen Kelly Needleman has produced a documentary centered on interviews with Kenwood fire surivior Ella Caughey, 17. Caughey shared her experiences ranging from the first night of the fires when she lost her home, to how she has been healing and coping with the tragedy through various support systems.

Needleman is a sophomore at Sonoma Academy in Santa Rosa. Caughney is a senior. The documentary was undertaken by Needleman as part of an independent project during Sonoma Acdaemy’s intersession term in January, together with partners Adam Zimmer and Elijah Lakritz.
