Library hosts Internet class

Workshop to ?introduce basics of web surfing on Friday|

The Sonoma Valley Library will offer a class on Internet Basics at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 23.

The workshop will give participants an introduction to the fundamentals of navigating the internet. Essentials of the internet will be explained such as, how to use a search engine and how to effectively search the internet. Find out how to open a browser create bookmarks and stay safe online.

Space is limited, so participants are asked to pre-register by stopping by the library at 755 W. Napa St., calling 996-5217 or on-line at sonomalibrary.org under “events.”

The workshop is free and open to all and presented in partnership with Language Truck, a locally-based educational services provider offering trainings throughout the North Bay in teaching basic skills and making learning a comfortable and fun process.
