As the devastating wildfires tore through Sonoma County, locals placed their hope in the firefighters who attacked the blaze from all angles. One of these firefighters was Captain Nathan Southwick, a C-130J Pilot and Santa Rosa native who battled the flames from the air.

While fighting the fires, Southwick captured several incredible videos that showed aerial views of the fire, retardant drops and the dramatic change in our county’s landscape.
