A new look for the Sonoma Valley High School band

A musician, parent and supporter of music in Sonoma schools, Rand Ronglien was looking for a way to support the Sonoma Valley High School band. He heard from band director Casey Jones that while their marching uniforms were great, sometimes they were too “over the top” and hot for casual performances.

He was hoping to get polo shirts for his performers that they could wear for semi-formal events.

Ronglien decided that his music equipment care company, Music Nomad, would buy the shirts for the band members.

“We are thrilled to be able to give back to the kids in the community that are playing music and doing something they enjoy,” said Ronglien.

Besides the shirts, Music Nomad supplies them with all the supplies to clean, maintain and protect their instruments.

The students really like the team look and like the comfort of the polos,” said Jones.

“This is such a great way to build spirit,” he added. “I feel privileged to have such great support and it really helps build morale and community in our band.
