Maine lobster fundraiser in Sonoma

The lobsters will be flown into San Francisco from Maine Friday and transported to Sonoma Saturday morning, where you can pick up your lobster live or cooked.|

Soroptimist International of Sonoma Valley will have live and cooked Maine lobsters in the rear parking lot of the Atrium Building, located at 670 W. Napa St., from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 28.

Advance orders are required and must be received by the end of the day, Thursday, Sept. 26.

The lobsters weigh about 1.5 pounds and sell for $26 each. Place orders by calling Juliette at 338-1874 or Cynthia at 939-1602.

The lobsters will be flown into San Francisco from Maine on Friday and transported to Sonoma on Saturday morning, where they can be picked up live or cooked.

Proceeds from the sales support local Soroptimist projects, including educational scholarships to graduating seniors from Sonoma Valley High School and donations to several local nonprofits.

Soroptimist is an international volunteer service organization for women who work to improve the lives of women and girls in Sonoma Valley and throughout the world.
