Restaurant Week: 9 days of delicious deals

Restaurant Week offers bargains in the rainy nights, from Kenwood to the Plaza, March 2 to 11.|

Every winter the Sonoma County Visitors Bureau supports Sonoma Restaurant Week, which serves to keep local restaurants open and busy throughout Sonoma County during slow winter months. But this winter has been more than slow. For some the “atmospheric rivers” and accompanying stormy weather have brought disaster.

This year, Restaurant Week is March 2 to 11. It’s a chance to try restaurants at lower prices than normal, or enjoy a “cheap date” at a local favorite.

Here are those Sonoma Valley restaurants that are offering special Restaurant Week meals, all priced at $19, $29, and $39 and ranging from two to three courses, listed alphabetically:

Café Citti

$29 dinner: House green salad or Caesar salad; ravioli alla Citti filled with pork, Swiss chard and tomato cream sauce; plain or chocolate covered anise and almond biscotti.9049 Sonoma Highway, Kenwood. 833-2690.

Carneros Bistro & Wine Bar

$39 dinner: soup or kale and quinoa salad; roasted Mary’s organic chicken half with Brussels sprouts and Yukon Gold mashed potatoes or Connie’s mushroom Bolognese; s’mores or local cheese plate. 1325 Broadway, Sonoma. 931-2042.

Della Santina’s
