Cat and dog foster homes needed in Sonoma

Temporary families needed to socialize Pets Lifeline animals.|

Not ready to own a pet? How about fostering?

Foster families are regularly needed by Pets Lifeline pet rescue center to provide temporary homes for cats, kittens and dogs. Fostering helps shy animals develop social skills, provides individual care for animals with health conditions or high needs, and gets them used to living in a house.

Foster homes are frequently needed for kittens that are too young to go up for adoption or who need to spend time getting used to people. For cat/kitten fostering, contact Shoshana Brown at 996-4577 ext. 103, or shoshanabrown@petslifeline.org.

Dogs take a lot of individual time and work to train and socialize. If you are interested in fostering dogs, fill out the Canine Foster Home Application at petslifeline.org/foster-animal-program.

For specific information regarding canine fosting, contact Mary Ann McCullough at 996-4577 ext. 101, or maryannmccullough@petslifeline.org.
