Martina McBride cookbook brings ‘love language’ to the kitchen

Country crooner touts ‘recipe playlist’.|

Country singer Martina McBride will bring her cookbook, “Martina’s Kitchen Mix: My Recipe Playlist for Real Life” to Lianna Estates Winery, off Duhig Road on Saturday, Nov. 10 at noon.

In a press statement about the book, McBride says: “When I make something delicious, I want to share it, which is a lot like sharing my music with an audience. Cooking is my love language.” The cookbook includes 150 of McBride’s favorite dishes including breakfasts and brunches, salads, soups, sandwiches, cocktails, main dishes, and desserts.

Sonoma resident and organizer Marguerita Castanera says McBride might just bring her guitar and break out in song. No guarantees, though. $145 per person includes book and lunch, $255 per couple includes one book and lunch for two.
