Creative Sonoma offers artists recovery grants after Sonoma fires

Sonoma County residents who are a creative professional and experienced loss as a result of the fires, can apply for a $1,000 grant from the Creative Sonoma Recovery Fund.|

Sonoma County residents who are a creative professional and experienced loss as a result of the fires, can apply for a $1,000 grant from the Creative Sonoma Recovery Fund, thanks to funding from the Hewlett Foundation, and local organizations who have hosted beneficiary events, and individual donors from Sonoma County and across the country,

The Creative Sonoma Recovery Fund is now open for applications for grants up to $1,000.

Creative individuals include: actors, architects, artisans, craft artists, dancers, designers, filmmakers, musicians/vocalists, photographers, visual artists, and writers; staff of nonprofit arts organizations (full-time, part-time and contract) and creative enterprises.

If your creative business or organization sustained physical loss directly related to the fires (props, sound gear, venue, etc.), you may also be eligible for this grant: call Samantha Kimpel at 565-6134 for customized instructions.
