Sunset magazine features fabulous John McReynolds and fabulous Stone Edge Farm on the front cover of its October issue in a lovely photo taken at, appropriately, sunset, plus a story and four pages of McReynolds’ easy recipes from his “Stone Edge Farm Cookbook.”

Watch for his recipes of Goat Cheese, Artichoke and Olive Bruschetta, Green Salad with Almonds, Charred Onion and Pomegranates, Wine-braised Beef Short Ribs, and Kohlrabi, Apple, and Horseradish Remoulade. You can also find his recipe for Crème Fraíche Sundaes at sunset.com.

McReynolds’ artist wife Brigitte, Mike and Jenny Emanuel, and Stone Edge garden director Colby Eierman and his wife Megan were the friends/guests lucky to enjoy McReynolds’ food as well as be in the photographs. Congratulations to McReynolds and the McQuans’ Stone Edge Farm, who are all most generous in our community.

Sunset will move its test garden and outdoor kitchen to Cornerstone in the near future.
