Only in Sonoma: Wine and ... cookies
Meadowcroft, a Sonoma winery, recommends pairing your Girl Scout Cookies with wine for the ultimate cookie experience.
Meadowcroft is offering a tasting flight of four wines paired with four Girl Scout Cookies from noon to 4 p.m. in their Sonoma tasting room on Saturday, Feb. 8 and Sunday, Feb. 9. Each flight is $20. The event is open to the public and no reservations are required.
“Samoas, Thin Mints, Trefoils – they’re all even tastier when paired with wine,” said Tom Meadowcroft, owner and winegrower at Meadowcroft Wines, in a press release announcing the pairing event. “We are pairing the Toffee-tastic cookie with our Meadowcroft Los Carneros Chardonnay for an amazing combination. Try the caramel and toasted coconut Samoas with our All She Wrote Port for a decadent treat.”
The Meadowcroft tasting room at Cornerstone Sonoma is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
