Adaptive gardening expert Toni Gattone will be at Readers’ Books on Thursday, Oct. 24, to present her book “The Lifelong Gardener: Garden with Ease & Joy at Any Age.”

There will be a garden reception at 5:30 p.m. with the presentation beginning at 6 p.m. Inspired by her own physical needs, Gattone has gathered simple solutions that will help aging gardeners continue their passion. Encouraging, inspiring and empowering by turns, Gattone opens up the world of gardening to all abilities and ages, according to press materials.

Gattone is a longtime gardener and entrepreneur. She is a certified Master Gardener and has been a member of the National Speakers Association. She writes and speaks on adaptive gardening and edible landscapes.
