Sonoma Plaza lit for the holidays

The Transcendence Theatre Company troupe entertained the appreciative crowd. Hundreds attended the festive, fifth Lighting of the Plaza for the holiday season, which took place on Saturday, Nov. 18. This year, though, was a little different. The event started at 4 p.m., rather than at 5 p.m, in order to pay special tribute to the first responders, who saved the Valley from what might have been complete devastation. Free hot cider, hot chocolate and cookies were available to all attendees, and the crowd mingled until well into the night. (Photo by Robbi Pengelly/Index-Tribune)
