Painting NASCAR

Tyler Chapman paints a white sqaure in the checkered start/finish line. This is the 26th year that Corky Caprara's company United Striping 101 has painted everything that needs painting on the track for Sonoma Raceway's NASCAR weekend. Every year, logos, edges, burms and the Start/Finish line are painted from scratch. Then, over the next few nights, Corky and his crew will repaint and retouch anything that needs a facelift for the following day's race. (Photos by Robbi Pengelly/Index-Tribune)
