Sonoma International Film Festival volunteers needed

The Sonoma International Film Festival (SIFF) returns this year March 25 to 29, and volunteers are needed, say festival officials.

“This festival is a labor of love for our whole community, a love of art, film, fun and community,” said SIFF Executive Director Kevin McNeely. “It would not exist if not for the generous support of hundreds of local individuals and businesses who give of their time, money and space in their homes.”

The festival’s first volunteer recruitment will be held at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 6 at Vintage House senior center, 264 First St. E.

Volunteers are needed to serve as film venue assistants, backlot assistants, theater managers and event organizers, as well as pre-festival administrative assistants in the week prior to the festival.
