Sonoma Conservatory of Dance’s “Snow Maiden: A Russian Wonder Tale of Love and Magic” returns this weekend with two performances at the Sebastiani Theatre. With a cast of adults and children ages 6 to 16, the full-length ballet and dance performance recounts a classic Russian folktale.

The ballet production is dear to the hearts of lead dancers, Fiona Cole (the Snow Maiden), Ximena Landeros (the West Wind), Sara McDermott (the Frost Fairy) and Isabella Silvi (the North Wind), according to artistic director Patty O’Reilly.

The three first danced in “The Snow Maiden” when they were 5 and 6 years of age.
