Sonoma Arts Live wins big for ‘Patsy Cline’

Sonoma Arts Live’s production of “Always... Patsy Cline” (directed by Michael Ross with music direction by Ellen Patterson) won five Marquee Theater Journalists Awards on Oct. 22.|

“Always... Patsy Cline,” the Sonoma Arts Live production from last July directed by Michael Ross with music direction by Ellen Patterson, won five Marquee Theater Journalists Awards, according to a statement from the group on Oct. 22.

The MTJA was founded in 2015 by Sonoma County theater journalists with the intent of developing a critically-based awards program to acknowledge outstanding work done by the local theater community. Current members include the North Bay Bohemian’s Harry Duke, Sonoma County Gazette’s Alexa Chipman, Talkin’ Broadway’s Jeanie K. Smith and Aisle Seat Review’s Barry Willis and Nicole Singley.
