Art auction at Sonoma Valley Museum of Art on Oct. 7

Fine art donations will be up for grabs at the party.|

Wall-to-Wall is back at the Sonoma Valley Museum of Art. From 5 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 7, SVMA will host a unique fine art auction and party featuring works by Sonoma, North Bay, California and nationally known artists such as Peter Voulkos, Mark di Suvero, Cordelia Urueta, Sebastio Salgado and many others. Paintings, sculpture, prints and photography, all donated by the community, will be available at the auction. The event includes cocktails, wine, lite bites and music by the Rich Little Band.

“It has been four years since SVMA hosted Wall-to-Wall, and after many requests from community members to bring the event back, we’re excited that 2017 is the year,” said museum director Linda Keaton. “This is a great way for people to support the museum’s exhibitions and education programs, and go home with a treasure. We expect between 350to 400 works of art for the auction.”

The museum accepted fine art donations up until last week.

Tickets for Wall-to-Wall are available at svma.org/calendar/events/wall-wall-silent-auction. Advance SVMA member tickets are $30, non-member tickets are $35, and tickets at the door will sell for $40.

Ticket price includes drinks, food and access to the auction.
