Sonoma author Nancy Martin will be at Readers' Books on Wednesday, Nov. 20 to speak about her memoir, 'From the Summer of Love to the Valley of the Moon.'

There will be a 6:30 p.m. reception, followed by a 7 p.m. reading.

Martin will be joined by Al Strong, formerly of the 1960s North Bay rock band, Sons of Champlin.

According to Readers' Books, 'From the Summer of Love to the Valley of the Moon' depicts Martin's journey from a teenage rock and roll wedding in San Francisco during the Summer of Love to her 2005 marriage to the founder of St. Francis Winery.

Martin was born in San Francisco, raised in Marin County and migrated north to the Valley of the Moon, where she has lived since 1976.
