‘Tonight Show’ writer to yuck it up in Sonoma

Buena Vista Winery will host comedian Steve Bruner and highlights from his long-running comedy career on Friday, Nov. 15, and Friday, Dec. 20.

A former writer for “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” Bruner will offer two different comedy sets each night.

Bruner was raised in Sonoma County. After decades of living in Los Angeles, he has returned home and now splits his time between L.A. and Santa Rosa.

He has appeared on Showtime, “An Evening at the Improv,” “Into the Night” and “The Byron Allen Show,” to name a few. He’s played most all of the legendary comedy clubs including the world-famous Comedy Store on the Sunset Trip, The Improv, The Laugh Factory Hollywood and the Punchline San Francisco. Bruner has also served as a writer/segment producer for “Haywire,” a sketch comedy show on Fox and acted in indie films, TV spots and theater productions.
