UFO Jim returns to Sonoma

Engaging lectures ‘suitable for doubters and devotees of all ages.’|

Prominent UFOlogist Jim Ledwith, aka UFOJim, returns to the Sonoma Community Center this fall with two new topics as part of his UFO Lecture Series on Tuesdays, Oct. 8 and 15.

Ledwith has been a UFO researcher for over 45 years, including investigative work interviewing retired military and defense industry personnel, while presenting lectures on the topic at venues both national and international.

In the first lecture, “On The Road with UFO Jim,” Ledwith will describe his UFO and crop circle experiences and introduce the audience to a surprise guest who worked at the notorious Area 51.

In the second lecture, “The Real Battle of Los Angeles 1942,” Ledwith will discuss what he considers to be the most controversial episode of World War II and the different UFO classification systems.

These engaging lectures “are suitable for doubters and devotees of all ages.”

All proceeds from the lecture series are donated to benefit the Sonoma Community Center’s arts and cultural education programs.

Lectures take place Tuesday evenings from 7 to 9 p.m. on October 8 and 15 in room 110.

Admission is $10 per lecture, $9 for members of the Center, and $5 for 18 and under.

Tickets can be purchased by phone at 938-4626 ext. 1, online at svbo.org, or at the Center, 276 E. Napa St.
