Sonoma Brands renames Zupa Noma

Soup line expanded; now known as Medlie.|

The Sonoma-born Zupa Noma soup line is being rebranded as Medlie.

At the Expo West trade show on March 4, Sonoma Brands unveiled the new name, redesigned packaging and a new collagen veggie shot. The brand also previewed a line of Veggie Mashes, a new product format for the brand.

“We’ve spent the last two years as a company uncovering what our consumers really love, which is that we make vegetables convenient and approachable for on-the-go,” said Medlie CEO Jen Berliner. “This rebrand allows us to lean into what’s worked from our original thesis and expand our offerings beyond the current drinkable veggies.”

Medlie’s new Whole30 approved Glow Veggie Shot is packed with vegetables and fruit along with four grams of grass-fed collagen protein. The company, founded by Sonoma resident Jon Sebastiani, has new paleo- and keto-friendly Whole30 approved Veggie Mashes, which are grab-and-go containers of vegetable blends, all with a low-carb mashed cauliflower base.

Zupa Noma will officially rebrand to Medlie and the new Glow Veggie Shot will become available online at the end of March. The Veggie Mashes will become available in spring 2019.

Zupa Noma was founded by Sonoma Brands in 2016.
