New branding: Sonoma Market recently completed a major renovation of its interior and the final new feature is a large Sonoma sign stretching from one end of the produce wall to the other.

Still closed: Sonoma Speakeasy will be closed through March, according to owner Jodi Stevens. Renovations are still underway.

Not yet open: Even though the space is looking nearly complete, the new coffee and ice cream spot in the Springs, Cielito, is not yet ready to open. The owners said they are working on the final paperwork and hope to open in a few weeks. Cielito is located next to Noble Yoga, Operation Bicycle and North Bay Credit Union in Vailetti Plaza on Highway 12.

Payless: The liquidation of Sonoma's Payless shoe store in Maxwell Village continues. All merchandise is now 30 to 50 percent off.

Best companies to work for: For the 20th year, the financial services firm Edward Jones has been named to Fortune's '100 Best Companies to Work for.' In 2019, it was No. 7. Nugget Market also made the list for the 14th time, at No. 81. Some years the company has even cracked the top 10. First American Title grabbed the No. 83 spot, making the list for the third year in a row. www.fortune.com/best-companies.

Cheese: Sheana Davis of Epicurean Connection was featured as a cheese expert in the U.S. in a recent article in the Huffington Post. Davis recently returned from a trip to Dubai where she was hosting cheese education for United Stated Dairy Export Council and the U.S. Cheese Guild.

Job fair: The Sonoma County school district's combined job fair for credentialed teachers and interns is from 9 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 2 at the Sonoma County Office of Education at 5340 Skylane Blvd. scoe.org/job fair.
