The Sonoma Stompers opened their 2015 season on high note, checking off an impressive victory over the Pittsburg Diamonds, 6-3.

The Stompers racked up 13 hits – including homers by Joel Carranza and Kristian Gayday - and enjoyed solid pitching from three newcomers, starter Matt Walker, and relievers Paul Hvozdovic and Sean Conroy.

The Stompers take to Arnold Field again on Tuesday night to try and extend their undefeated streak to two games. Tonight’s game is the second of a three game series with the Diamonds. First pitch is at 6:05 p.m. The first 400 fans will receive a 2015 Stompers magnet schedule courtesy of Mara Kahn Real Estate.
