Sonoma Valley High wrestlers hit the mat

After series of COVID cancellations, Dragons are set to take on Vintage and Windsor King of the Mat.|

After the disappointing cancellation of the annual Deets Winslow Tournament due to COVID concerns on Jan. 8, the Sonoma Valley High School wrestlers are heading back to the mat this week.

On Wednesday, the Dragons will wrestle the team from Vintage High School. They’ll be heading to Napa for the 6 p.m. match.

Saturday kicks off early with the Windsor King of the Mat tournament at Windsor High School. The event kicks off at 9 a.m., with wrestlers taking part in matches until about 5 p.m.
