Sonoma golfers take forfeit from Casa, fall to Napa

Final match set for Thursday|

The Sonoma Valley High Lady Dragon golfers won a forfeited match last Tuesday, Oct. 2, but lost to Napa on Thursday, Oct. 4.

Tuesday, Casa Grande forfeited its match as the Gauchos don’t have a team this year. On Thursday, Napa beat Sonoma 254-368, at the par 36 Kennedy Golf course in Napa.

Napa’s Devan Wickersham and Mara Zuidema were the co-medalists with a low score of 47. For Sonoma, Violet Heffernan shot a 61, Gabby romero shot a 75, Sapbrina Baker shot a 76 while Kylee Minehan, Auguste Andi and Jacqueline Torres all shot 78s. The Lady Dragons have a bye on Tuesday and then finish their regular season on Thursday with a match at Petaluma.
