The City of Sonoma has received two reports of water customers who received a call stating that the routing number for their on-line water bill payment was wrong and that their water was about to be shut off.|

The City of Sonoma has received two reports of water customers who received a call stating that the routing number for their on-line water bill payment was wrong and that their water was about to be shut off.

The caller stated that to avoid a water shut off, the customer would need to go to CVS and obtain a Western Gram money order.

If anyone receives such a phone call, take note of the caller’s phone number and alert the Sonoma Police Department at 996-3602.
