Sonoma County Fairgrounds opens as evacuation point

From there, residents will be directed to hotels, motels, RV parks and other temporary shelters.|

If you need to evacuate because of the wildfires, Sonoma County has made the Sonoma County Fairgrounds, 1350 Bennett Valley Road in Santa Rosa, an evacuation point.

Once residents arrive at the fairgrounds, they will be directed to another shelter, such as RV parking, hotels or motels.

The Sonoma County Fairgrounds is open to house large animals.
