Santa Claus will be making his annual trip to Larson’s Family Winery next month to bring holiday cheer and take photographs with guests.

Santa will be on hand on Saturday, Dec. 3 and Sunday, Dec. 4 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days. Each photo session will last about five minutes and reservations can be made by contacting the winery website or calling 707-938-3031, ext. 20.

After each session, which costs $35 for members and $40 for nonmembers, a 5-by-7-inch photo will be printed for the guest. So, guests are advised to allow a little extra time to select the photo they want and for printing.

The photographer, John Moore of Razor Pix Photography, will also have digital and additional prints photos to order.

Guests can book a tasting of Larson’s small lot and estate-craft wines before or after their visit with Santa.

The winery is located at 23355 Millerick Road in Sonoma, in the heart of Sonoma Valley’s Carneros region, where five generations of the family have lived on and worked the land. Starting as a dairy farm, the land transitioned into housing the largest rodeo in Northern California from 1928 to the 1950s.

The family planted its first vineyard in 1978 and opened the winery a decade later. Today, the staff bottles 5,000 cases of wine that it sells exclusively through its tasting room and wine club, and farms 150 acres of estate vineyards.
