Public hearing for Siesta senior housing

92 senior apartment project ready to clear next application hurdle|

The new Siesta Senior Apartments planned for Boyes Hot Springs will be discussed in a virtual public hearing at the Sonoma County Design Review Committee at 1:35 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 20. The builder, Milestone Group, will present its plans for a senior housing complex at 171 Siesta Way and 18503 Sonoma Highway.

The proposal is a 100-percent affordable 92-unit multifamily senior housing development of units averaging 526 square feet on a 2.29-acre parcel. The development follows the conditional approval for the closure of an existing mobile home park on the same property, Oak Park Trailers.

The development will consist of a single three-story building, with elevators, solar panels, 95 parking spaces, a club room, lobby, exercise stations and other outdoor communal areas.
