More than 100 paintings, prints, sculptures and photographs will be available when the Sonoma Valley Museum of Art’s Wall2Wall Online Art Auction returns this month.

The Wall2Wall auction will be comprised mainly of artworks donated by artists and collectors, and include work from prominent national and international artists such as Clayton Bailey, Erik Castro, Catherine Daley, Guy Diehl, Shelby Graham, Brigitte McReynolds, Deborah Oropallo, Inez Storer and Keith Wicks.

Online bidding will be available May 11-16. Prospective bidders must register in advance at https://svma.ejoinme.org/W2WRegistration. On the registration page, they must “purchase” one free registration and be sure to include a mobile phone number if they want to be notified when someone outbids them.

Registered bidders will be notified about previewing the works before the auction goes live.

Proceeds from the online auction will go toward SVMA education and exhibition programs, such as Art Rewards the Students, which provides arts education for all fourth- and fifth-grade students in Sonoma Valley schools.

Established in 1998, SVMA is a membership supported 501(c) 3, nonprofit organization that provides seasonal exhibitions of contemporary and modern art as well as educational and public programming for children, youth and adults. The organization’s mission is Building Community Around Art.

The museum is located at 551 Broadway, one-half block from Sonoma Plaza. It’s open Wednesday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Everyone is admitted free on Wednesdays. On the other days, general admission costs $10 but is free for SVMA members. Additional information is available at svma.org or by calling 707-939-SVMA.
