Make Sonoma roundabout leader

Editor, Index-Tribune

Time for a roundabout! Never a second without a third – see Tuesday, July 1, 2014, pulse of the public. We are pleased that John Camajani, Sonoma expressed his views on the subject.

I cannot understand, since 121/12 at Schellville was redone not long ago. We found it ridiculous to have installed “light signals” in that space in the country where so much space was available and saving money, too.

Thirty-two years ago, revisiting UR where I lived in the ’50s was so aware how easy the flow of traffic was, besides missing your roundabout gives you a chance to see Sonoma before heading to Napa.

The lovely “Visit Sonoma Valley” sign 300 feet up would be better in the middle of the roundabout!

So much for CalTrans. Please make life easier, thank you.

What about 121/37 by Sears Point … to make Sonoma the leader in roundabouts?
